Pastor Lois Hildenbrand’s schedule:
Monday – Sermon writing at home
Tuesday – Thursday, 9 – 12 office hours and by appointment

Hanging of the Greens – All are invited to join the Worship Committee this Saturday, December 2nd, at 9:00 a.m. to prepare the sanctuary for Advent. Many hand make for light work, so plan to join us!

The Session will meet on Tuesday, November 28th at 5:00 p.m. here at the church. Materials are in your mailboxes in the office.

The Outreach Mission Group prepares sandwiches and puts together bag lunches three times per month for the Prescott Valley community meals program. A few additional helping hands would be greatly appreciated. You do not have to commit to helping all three times if it doesn’t fit into your schedule. The workers meet at 8:45 a.m. in the Mingus View kitchen. Remaining November date is Tuesday, the 28th. Thank you!

Bell Ringers Needed! We’d like to get the Celebration Bell Choir back up and running, but we could use a couple more ringers. Please speak to Fran Chadwick if you are interested.

It’s time to think of our friends in Ganado! Once again this Christmas, the Mission Committee is asking for your donations of warm blankets, coats, socks, etc. Cash donations will be used to purchase personal care items for the gift bags. Deadline for donations will be December 10th, so we can deliver the gifts for their annual party. Thank you for helping the Ganado Presbyterian Church make Christmas a little brighter for some of their neighbors!

An Advent study – “Reflections of Messiah” will be offered beginning Wednesday, November 29th, at 10:00 a.m. here at the church. This is not the long study based on the music of Handel’s Messiah that we did several years ago, but rather is a series of contemporary reflections based on the scripture Handel used to inspire his oratorio. All are welcome to come and spend some quiet time in reflection during this hectic season.
