Gluten-free Communion Bread is being provided in the trays for those who require it. The “wine” in the cups is grape juice and plain water is in the cup at the center of the tray.

What is . . . the procedure for receiving Holy Communion at Mingus View? All are invited to the Lord’s Table. Communion elements are distributed to worshippers in the pews. Generally, the bread is eaten as soon as folks feel ready after receiving it. When the cups are distributed, generally the cup is held until all have been served and the Pastor says “Take and drink.”

The Outreach Mission Group puts together bag lunches for the community meal program, three times per month. The remaining dates for April are Saturday, April 27th and Tuesday, April 30th. The group meets around 8:45 a.m. and can always use more help.

Ushers, greeters, and hosts for Fellowship Hour are always needed. If you’d like to help with the offering, please speak to RW. Sign up sheets may be found on the bulletin board at the back of the sanctuary for Greeters and hosts for Fellowship. THANKS!

What (Who) are the Crafternooners? A funny name for a great group that gathers on Wednesday afternoons at 1:00 to sit around a table and do any type of hand craft. Some knit, so sew, some do beading or paper cutting – anything that’s portable. Some lively conversation may also be involved! What are the requirements? Show up downstairs in the craft room at 1:00!

The Mission & Stewardship Committee invites you to participate in the annual “One Great Hour of Sharing”, a special offering of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Join with Presbyterians world-wide in sharing God’s love with our neighbors in need around the world by providing relief from disasters, food for the hungry, and support for the poor and oppressed. The offering will be dedicated on Easter Sunday, April 21st. Envelopes may be found in the pews.
