The Session of Mingus View Presbyterian Church calls for a meeting of the Congregation on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at the close of worship. The purpose of the meeting is to elect church officers, receive the 2019 Budget, and receive and discuss the results of the Mission Study Survey. Please plan to be in attendance on that Sunday.

The Mingus View family welcomes with joy the Rev. Gary Gard and his wife, Patty! Rev. Gard is an ordained Presbyterian minister who has served churches in Pennsylvania, Wyoming, California, and Arizona.

Don’t forget to sign up today for Tuesday’s soup supper. We’ll begin at 5:00 p.m. Please come and enjoy a meal and have conversation with Brad Munroe, executive presbyter of Grand Canyon Presbytery.

The remaining Outreach Mission Group dates for October are Saturday, the 27th, and Tuesday, the 30th.

Copies of the results and analysis of the Mission Study Survey are available for you to review. At the Congregational Meeting on October 28th, there will be time for discussion regarding the survey results, so please look this over before that meeting.

Prescott Valley Spooktacular. Mingus View Presbyterian Church is trying to get our name out into the community by serving out in the community. On Halloween night, October 31st, we will have a table at the community Spooktacular, a safe place for children to ‘Trick or Treat’ at the PV Event Center.  We need folks to join in setting up, from 2pm-3pm and staffing our booth, from 4pm to 7pm. We’ll hand out candy to kids and bottled water to adults.  We’re also looking for donations of wrapped candy to distribute to over 2000 kids! Look for the donation box in the Narthex.
