12th Sunday after Pentecost

“O come, let us sing unto the Lord; let us make a joyful noise

to the rock of our salvation.”  Psalm 95:1

You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. Worship Service in our sanctuary or with the broadcast on Facebook.  This Sunday we will be doing a hymn sing, celebrating six great old hymns.  Included are:  “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee,” “Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise,” “Blessed Assurance, Jesus is Mine,” “O Master, Let Me Walk With Thee,” “Open My Eyes, That I May See,” and “I Sing the Mighty Power of God.”  Scripture readings will be Psalm 98, Colossians 3:12-17; and Acts 16: 25-29.  The Chancel Choir will sing, “Eternal God, whose Power Upholds.”

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Food Pantry News – Thank you to everyone who is helping to keep our Food Pantry stocked!  We so appreciate all of you, especially since we’ve had over 10 clients each of the past three weeks.  Please remember, though:  We are not able to distribute food items that are past their “Use By” date.  It will help our volunteers greatly if you check those expiration dates before you donate items!  Thanks So Much!
  • The Year of the Bible questions for the Week of August 28th are:
