3rd Sunday of Advent

“Sing praises to the Lord, for God has done gloriously; let this be known in all the earth.  Shout aloud and sing for joy, O royal Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”   Isaiah 12:5 – 6

You are invited to join our 10:00 a.m. Sunday worship service in our sanctuary or with the broadcast on our Facebook page.  The title of Jerry Hammon’s message for the 3rd Sunday of Advent is “Take Heart”  (Isaiah 12:2-6; Philippians 4:4-7).      Special music will  be “Rejoice, Rejoice Believers”  sung by Janet Hansen and Fran Chadwick.  Hymns will include “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee,” “O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing,” and “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.”

  • Greeters and hosts for Fellowship Hour are needed!  Sign up sheets are posted on the back bulletin board.  
  • GREAT NEWS!  Bob & Jone Rongstad have graciously decided that they will be able to host their Christmas Eve open house again this year!  You are invited to gather at their home following the Christmas Eve worship service on Friday, the 24th.  They would appreciate it if you would sign up to let them know you plan to attend.
  • The Advent Study – “Names for the Messiah” will continue on Tuesday, December 14th  at 10:00 a.m. 
  • The Hope Circle will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 15th.  We will be on Lesson 4.
