The Year of the Bible questions for the Week of December 25th are:

  1. Which prophet tells us that a messenger will be sent to prepare the way before the appearance of the Lord?
  2. Why will there be no temple in the new Jerusalem?

Answers from last week:

  1. In Micah we read that what God considers good – what the Lord requires of us – is essentially three things.  What are they? (What God considers good and requires of us is to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with God.  Micah 6:8)
    1. According to Revelation, the “mark of the beast” is a name, represented as a number, which people will be forced to bear if they hope to participate in trade and commerce.  What is the number? The number of the beast, the name which everyone will have to bear is “666”. Revelation 13:18)
