Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
“For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; and he is
named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
You are invited to join us on Saturday, Christmas Eve, for our 5:00 p.m. Worship Service in our sanctuary or with the broadcast on Facebook. We will welcome the Christ Child with a Candlelight Service of Lessons and Carols. Then on Sunday, at 10:00 a.m. we will worship and celebrate “God with Us.” On Sunday, the title of Jerry Hammon’s sermon is “Some Thoughts on Christmas Morning” (John 1:1-14; Luke 2:1-2.) The Celebration Bell Choir will play “O Come, All Ye Faithful” and the Chancel Choir will sing “Good Christian Friends Rejoice!”

- Which prophet tells us that a messenger will be sent to prepare the way before the appearance of the Lord?

Answers from last week:
- In Micah we read that what God considers good – what the Lord requires of us – is essentially three things. What are they? (What God considers good and requires of us is to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with God. Micah 6:8)
- According to Revelation, the “mark of the beast” is a name, represented as a number, which people will be forced to bear if they hope to participate in trade and commerce. What is the number? The number of the beast, the name which everyone will have to bear is “666”. Revelation 13:18)
