The 2nd Sunday after Epiphany
“Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love
and faithfulness always protect me.” Psalm 40:11
You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service, either in person or on Face Book. The title of Jerry Hammon’s sermon is “Trusting God When Things Go Wrong” (1 Corinthians 1:1-9; Isaiah 49:1-7.) The Chancel Choir will sing “The Heavens Above Declare God’s Praise. Hymns for the day include “There’s a Sweet, Sweet Spirit,” “Called as Partners in Christ’s Service,” and “Great is Thy Faithfulness.”

ANNOUNCEMENTS
- The Session of Mingus View Presbyterian Church has called for the Annual Meeting of the Congregation & Corporation for Sunday, January 29, 2023, immediately following worship. Annual Reports are available on the round table for you to take with you today – one per family, please.
- The Hope Circle will meet on Wednesday, January 18th, at 10:00 a.m. Please read Lesson 5.
- It’s Per Capita time, once again! Per Capita funding is how Presbyterians equally and mutually share the cost of coming together to discern the Spirit’s leading for the future. This year, the amount needed for each church member in Grand Canyon Presbytery is $38.51, which is the same as the past 2 years.
Our church pays the full amount for each member in January of each year. We invite you to help support the overall church budget by contributing $38.51 for each member in your household. Any money that you contribute will be returned to the General Fund. We thank you so very much for all the support you provide to the church.
