Palm/Passion Sunday
“Open to me the gates of righteousness, that I may enter through them
and give thanks to the Lord. The stone that the builders rejected has
become the chief cornerstone. This is the Lord’s doing; it is
marvelous in our eyes.” Psalm 118:19, 22-23
You are invited to join our 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning worship service in our sanctuary or with the broadcast on our Facebook page. This is Palm Sunday, the day we remember Jesus’ triumphal ride into Jerusalem. But it is also the beginning of Holy Week, Jesus’ last week on earth. We cannot celebrate Easter in a week if we don’t meditate on the events of Holy Week. The title of Jerry Hammon’s message is “False Hope” (Mark 11: 1 – 11; John 12:2 – 16). Special music will be “Hosanna, Loud Hosanna” and the Celebration Bell Ringers will play “Hosanna!” Hymns will be spoken and they include “All Glory, Laud, and Honor,” “My Song is Love Unknown,” and “Ride On, Ride On in Majesty.”

HOLY WEEK
Trinity Presbyterian has invited us to participate in their virtual Maundy Thursday service, which will be held at 7:00 p.m. April 1st. The service will be available on your home computer via Zoom and will include Holy Communion. The folks at Trinity will need to know who plans to participate. You may state your intentions in one of two ways. You may let Susan Goe know and she will pass along your email address. Or you may e-mail Trinity yourself at [email protected] and give them your address. They will send the Zoom invite at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday for the 7:00 service. Please make your intentions known by Tuesday, March 30th. A reminder to watch for the Zoom invite will go out on Wednesday to all those who have provided their address.
Good Friday is April 2nd . We will have an in-person and online worship service beginning at 5:00 p.m.
