ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Greeters and hosts for Fellowship Hour are needed!  Sign up sheets are posted on the back bulletin board.
  • “The Grace of Les Miserables” will be our Bible study during Lent.  Written by Matt Rawle, this study focuses on six themes found in the story – grace, justice, poverty, revolution, love, and hope – each represented by a character in Victor Hugo’s story.  Rawle draws parallels between the story and our Christian calling to inspire us to understand our faith and how to live it out in the world.  Join us on Tuesday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. beginning March 8th.  Books are available on the round table at the side of the sanctuary.
  • The Board of Deacons will meet next Sunday at 9:15 a.m.
  • The March Session meeting has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, March 29th, at 3:00 p.m.  Please make special note of the start time.
  • Now that we’re well into the “Year of the Bible” daily readings, each Sunday we’ll have a couple of questions that you will be able to answer from the week’s readings.  The questions for the Week of March 6th are:
  • In Israel, could a father’s inheritance ever pass to his daughters?
  • Who tips off the Roman authorities about the plot against Paul’s life in Jerusalem?

Answers next week!!
