The Day of Pentecost

May 23, 2021

“. . . everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Acts 2:21

You are invited to join our 10:00 a.m. Sunday worship service in our sanctuary or with the broadcast on our Facebook page.   Sunday is The Day of Pentecost on the church calendar.  Often referred to as the birth of Christ’s church, it celebrates the promised gift of the Holy Spirit, coming upon the disciples and others, to inspire and enable the Good News to spread throughout the world.  The title of Jerry Hammon’s message is “A Momentous Day.”  (Acts 2: 1 – 21).  Special music will  be “Wind Who Makes All Winds That Blow.”    Hymns will be spoken and they include “On Pentecost They Gathered,” “Breathe On Me, Breath of God,” and “Come, O Spirit.”
