4th Sunday of Easter

Mother’s Day

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.  He makes me like down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.”  Psalm 23:1-2

Christ is risen!  Christ is risen indeed!  You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. Worship Service in our sanctuary or with the broadcast on our Facebook page.  The title of Susan Goe’s message is “Longing to Be Known” (John 10:11-18; Psalm 137:1-4; Jeremiah 29:4-7). The Chancel Choir will sing “How Happy is Each Child of God”. Hymns will include “The Church of Christ in Every Age,” “Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us” and “Song of Hope.”

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • The Mission Team will meet at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10th.  The Worship Team will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 13th.
  • Great News!  Habitat for Humanity is back to building houses and they would love to have our weekly donations of homemade cookies!  There is a sign-up sheet on the back bulletin board if you can help us out with a week or two!  Please bring your cookies in on Sunday, and Emma Hall will deliver them.
  • The Year of the Bible questions for the Week of May 8th are:
  • Which Psalm records David’s prayer of confession because of the affair with Bathsheba?
  • What does Paul think of lawsuits begun by Christians against other Christians?
