1st Sunday of Advent

“The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and House of Judah.’”

You are invited to join our 10:00 a.m. Sunday worship service in our sanctuary or with the broadcast on our Facebook page.  The title of Jerry Hammon’s message for the 1st Sunday of Advent is “Beginning and End Times”  (Jeremiah 33:14-16; Luke 21:25-36).    Special music will  be “To a Maid Engages to Joseph”  sung by Janet Hansen and Fran Chadwick. Nancy Carlzen will play “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” on the dulcimer.   Hymns will include “Lift Up Your Heads, Ye Mighty Gates” “Love Divine, All Loves Excelling,” and “Rejoice, Rejoice Believers.”

  • ADVENT DEVOTIONALS ARE AVAILABLE to enhance your Advent experience.  They are in the back, on the Fellowship table.  One per family, please.
  • The next Session Meeting will be Tuesday, November 30th at 1:00 p.m.  Materials for the meeting are in the church office. 
  • The Advent Study – “Names for the Messiah” will begin on Tuesday, November 30th at 10:00 a.m.  You do not need to purchase any materials – there are papers on the back table or speak to Susan.
