ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • October Greeters and hosts for Fellowship Hour are needed!  Sign up sheets are posted on the back bulletin board.
  • The Mingus View Session will meet on Tuesday, September 21, at 1:00 p.m.  Meeting materials are in session member’s boxes in the office.
  • We are so appreciative of the generous donations that this congregation makes to keep our Food Pantry up and running.  However, our volunteers tell us that we have a large supply of cereal (a good problem to have!)  Since storage space is limited, they are requesting that you hold off on donating cereal for a while.  If you are wondering what you might substitute, canned meats (Spam and tuna) are always popular.  THANK YOU!
  • If you are a fan of Lois Hildenbrand’s homemade Alaskan jams & jellies, we still have a good supply.  Jars are on the table at the back of the sanctuary with more in the office.  Also, if you have empty jars at home, Lois would appreciate it if you return them to the office.  She’ll pick them up sometime this winter.  If you have never tried them, you’re in for a treat!
  • If you’re looking to get rid of any gently used warm coats or blankets you may bring them to the church anytime and we’ll start our collection in anticipation of Camp Christmas in Ganado.  Thank you.
