You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service either in person or on YouTube Live via our Facebook page. The title of Susan Goe’s sermon is “Watch What You Say” (James 3:1-12; Mark 8:27-38). The choir anthem will be “The King of Love My Shepherd Is.” Hymns for the day include: “How Great Thou Art,” “Though I May Speak,” and “Jesus Shall Reign Where’er the Sun.”

- New Members! If you have been considering membership at Mingus View Presbyterian and would like more information, please speak to Susan Goe. We are planning to receive new members this Fall and would be blessed to have you!
- Update for the Mingus View Food Pantry! New this week: Peanut Butter. Also Plain pasta, spaghetti sauces, bags of beans and/or rice, ketchup, jelly, cereal, Spam, boxed meals such as noodles or Rice-a-roni, etc, canned soup, canned chicken or tuna, canned veggies, canned fruits. Of course, we appreciate any donations! If you can help us out when you shop this week, our clients will really appreciate it! Thanks!
- The first Hope Circle meeting for the 2024-2025 year will be Wednesday, the 18th, at 10:00 a.m. The theme is “Let Justice Roll Down: God’s Call to Care for Neighbors and All Creation.” Books are on the round table at the back of the sanctuary. The cost is $10.00, if you can help with the cost of the book. Join us!
