24th Sunday after Pentecost

All Saints’ Day Observed

See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them as their God, they will be his peoples, and God will be with them; he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more . . .” Rev. 21: 3-4

You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service either in person or on YouTube Live via our Facebook page. We will be having an All Saints’ Day memorial-type service honoring the church members who have died this past year. The title of Susan Goe’s sermon is “All Saints Remembered.” (Ecclesiastes 3: 1 – 8, 14-15; Isaiah 40: 28 – 31; John 14: 1 – 6, 25 – 27;

Romans 8: 31 – 39.) The sacrament of Holy Communion will be observed. The choir anthem will be “On Eagles Wings.” Hymns for the day include: “For All the Saints” “My Shepherd Will Supply My Need,” “Amazing Grace” and “Savior, Again, to Thy Dear Name We Raise.”

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Great News! Our sister church in Ganado will once again this year be able to have their Camp Christmas! It’s been several years and we’re thrilled to be able to help out with gifts once again. Needed items are personal care products, warm coats, gloves, scarves, blankets, etc. Please have your donations to the church by Sunday, December 8th. THANK YOU!
  • Thank you so very much to everyone who helped re-stock the Pantry shelves. The list of needs remains the same with a special need for soup and canned chicken, plus peanut butter, plain pasta, spaghetti sauces, bags of beans and/or rice, ketchup, jelly, cereal, Spam, boxed meals such as noodles or Rice-a-roni, etc, canned tuna, canned veggies, canned fruits. Of course, we appreciate any donations!
