Palm/Passion Sunday

“Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.  We bless you from the house of the Lord.” Psalm 118:26

You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service, either in person or on Face Book.  The title of Susan Goe’s sermon is “From Blessings to Betrayal” (Matthew 21:1-11; Matthew 26:14-46 ).  The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated.  The Chancel Choir will sing “Hosanna, Loud Hosanna”  and Fran Chadwick & Janet Hansen will sing “Ride On, Ride On in Majesty.”  Hymns for the day include “All Glory, Laud and Honor,”  “We Come as Guests Invited,” and “Ah, Holy Jesus.”  You are also invited to join us on Maundy Thursday, April 6th, at 5:00 p.m. for a service celebrating the Last Supper.

HOLY WEEK AND EASTER

  • Maundy Thursday – April 6th

                    Worship with Holy Communion at Mingus View, 5:00 p.m.

  • Good Friday – April 7th

                    Worship at Prescott Valley United Methodist Church, 4:30 p.m.

                    The church is located at 8944 E. Sommer Drive, east of Navajo.

  • Easter Sunday – April 9th

                    Service in Witness to the Resurrection of Christ, 10:00 a.m.       

                    All are invited to the Easter Potluck following worship.  There is a                         sign-up sheet on the round table so please let the planning team know                       if you can be there!

  • The Mission & Stewardship Team invites you to participate in the annual “One Great Hour of Sharing”, a special offering of the Presbyterian Church (USA).  The offering will be dedicated on Easter Sunday, April 9th.
