Resurrection of the Lord/Easter Sunday
“Do not be afraid; I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has been raised, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.” Matthew 28:5-6
Christ is Risen! Christ is Risen Indeed! You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. Easter worship service, either in person or on Face Book. The title of Susan Goe’s sermon is “God’s Love Gets the Last Word” (Matthew 28:1-10; Acts 10:34-43). The Chancel Choir will sing “Christ is Alive!” and Fran Chadwick & Janet Hansen will sing “Christ the Lord is Risen Today,” and the Celebration Bell Choir will play. Hymns for the day include “Come, Ye Faithful, Raise the Strain,” “Good Christians All, Rejoice and Sing,” and “The Day of Resurrection.”
