ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Put on your smiley face! We’d love to have more people sign up to take a turn at greeting on Sunday mornings! Only requirement is to be at the church before 9:30. Please sign up on the back bulletin board for one week or more. It will be greatly appreciated!
  • Mountain View Elementary School: Our partnership with Mountain View School has been a great success and Nurse Stephanie and the staff just can’t stop thanking us for all our donations the past couple of years. It’s time to get the nurse’s office set for the new school year so now’s a great time to start looking for good beginning of the year deals. They are ALWAYS in need of girls and boys underpants sizes 6 – 8, boys sweatpants and girls leggings, sizes 6 – 8. The kids come to her for snacks, so small prepackaged crackers and cheese or crackers and peanut butter, Goldfish, and chips keep her stocked. Also, the small bottles of water are needed. So, Mingus View, let’s get Mountain View ready for the new school year! Thanks!
  • The Mission Team has put together an inventory of Medical Supply Equipment that is available for any one to borrow should the need arise. Most small items are here at the church; larger items remain in people’s homes. The list can be found on the back bulletin board. If you or a loved one has need of a walker, wheelchair, etc. consult the list and we can probably help you out.
  • Needed items for the Food Pantry include: Canned chicken; tuna; canned fruit; Spam; Canned carrots, corn, and mixed vegetables; cereal; soups; rice, sauces, pasta. Thanks so much!
