The Year of the Bible questions for the Week of December 18th are:

  1. In Micah we read that what God considers good – what the Lord requires of us – is essentially three things.  What are they?
  2. According to Revelation, the “mark of the beast” is a name, represented as a number, which people will be forced to bear if they hope to participate in trade and commerce.  What is the number?

Answers from last week:

1.       What reason does Jonah give for fleeing to Tarshish rather than going to Nineveh as God had commanded him? (Jonah explains that he fled to Tarshish because he knew that God was gracious, and therefore he feared that God would forgive the people of Nineveh if they repented.  Jonah 3:10-4:2)

2.      What does John see when the Lamb opens the seventh seal? (John   sees seven angels with seven trumpets standing before God.  Revelation 8:1-2).
