2nd Sunday in Lent
“I am God Almighty . . . this is my covenant with you: You shall be the ancestor of a multitude of nations. No longer shall your name be Abram, but your name shall be Abraham.” Genesis 17:2, 4
You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service either in person or on Face Book. The title of Susan Goe’s sermon is “The Covenant of Promise” (Psalm 22:23-31; Genesis 17:1-7,15-16; Romans 4:13-25). The Chancel Choir will sing “What Wondrous Love is This.” Hymns for day include: “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross,” and “There’s a Wideness in God’s Mercy.”

ANNOUNCEMENTS
- It’s not always easy to see the sign-up sheets on the back bulletin board, but that’s because the Mingus View family loves its Fellowship time! Hosts for Fellowship are always needed. If you would like to provide some of the goodies, but don’t know how to do the set-up, NO problem. We have wonderful Deacons who will assist you. Speak to Gerri Runge or Sally Randall if you’d like to help out!
- Greeters are also needed. Please consider signing up to be a friendly face to all who come to worship.
- Volunteers for the Food Pantry are needed! Please sign up on the back bulletin board.
- Mingus View Directories, updated for 2024, are available for you to pick up! They are on the round table, so please help yourself.
- Bible Study for Lent – “Pause: Spending Time with the Psalms.” continues Tuesday, February 27th, at 10:30 a.m. Study books are available on the round table and are $10.00. Speak to Susan Goe if you have questions.
- Prescott Valley United Methodist Men invite everyone to a Pancake Breakfast on Thursday, February 29th, between the hours of 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Breakfast will be served in their Fellowship Hall and a free will offering will be appreciated. The church is located at 8944. E. Sommer Drive in PV.
