“The Lord has made his wonderful works to be remembered. The Lord is gracious and full of compassion.” Psalm 111:4
You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service either in person or on Face Book. The title of Susan Goe’s sermon is “Authority in Both Word and Deed” (Deuteronomy 18:15-20; Mark 1:21-28). The Chancel Choir will sing “Deep in the Shadows of the the Past.” Hymns for day include: “Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise,” “Lord, Speak to Me That I May Speak,” and “Dear Lord and Father of Mankind.”

ANNOUNCEMENTS
- It’s not always easy to see the sign-up sheets on the back bulletin board, but that’s because the Mingus View family loves its Fellowship time! Hosts for Fellowship are always needed. If you would like to provide some of the goodies, but don’t know how to do the set-up, NO problem. We have wonderful Deacons who will assist you. Speak to Gerri Runge or Sally Randall if you’d like to help out!
- Greeters are also needed. Please consider signing up to be a friendly face to all who come to worship.
- Volunteers for the Food Pantry are needed! Please sign up on the back bulletin board.
- Annual Reports are Available — Copies of the 2023 Annual Report are available on the round table at the back of the sanctuary. One per family, please.
- TODAY. The Session has called for the Annual Meeting of the Congregation & Corporation of Mingus View Presbyterian Church for Sunday, January 28, 2024, at the close of the worship service.
- It’s Per Capita time, once again! Per Capita funding is how Presbyterians equally and mutually share the cost of coming together to discern the Spirit’s leading for the future. This year, the amount needed for each church member in Grand Canyon Presbytery is $38.51, which is the same as the past several years. Our church pays the full amount for each member in January of each year. We invite you to help support the overall church budget by contributing $38.51, or whatever you can, for each member in your household. We thank you so very much for all the support you provide to the church.
