I sing for joy at the work of your hands!” Psalm 92:4

You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service, either in person or on Face Book.  We are going to have a Hymn Sing!  The title of Susan Goe’s sermon is “Sing and Make Melody to the Lord!” (Psalm 98, Psalm 100, Colossians 3:12-17).  We will learn the stories behind and sing together 6 great hymns of the faith.  The Chancel Choir will sing “Like a Murmur of a Dove’s song.”

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Greeters and hosts for Fellowship Hour are needed!  Sign up sheets are posted on the back bulletin board.
  • A NEW MISSION OPPORTUNITY! Session has approved Mission & Stewardship’s sponsoring a wonderful new local mission for our congregation which we’re sure you’ll embrace! We have adopted Mountain View Elementary School’s nurse which will in turn benefit the 375 students. Nurses in the district are only given a budget of $500 a year. The needs far exceed the money. So we have volunteered YOU to help Mountain View’s nurse meet these needs. Session has approved donations of $150 per semester for the nurse to use where there’s need. Kids sometimes have accidents so donations of underwear, sweatpants, jeans, and shorts are needed to have on hand. (youth sizes small and medium or small adult) Save your grandchildren’s used jackets, jeans, shorts. Hygiene products such as deodorant, chap sticks, toothpaste/toothbrushes, mouthwash, and feminine hygiene products are needed as well. Save your hotel toiletries or dental goodie bags and donate if you don’t use them! Drop donations in the marked gym bag as you enter the church. We’ll keep you updated of needs monthly. For further information, contact Linda Wyatt. Thank you, Mingus View!!
