Resurrection of the Lord/Easter Day
“Do not be alarmed; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised; he is not here.”

You are invited to join us on Easter Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service either in person or on YouTube Live via our Facebook page. The title of Susan Goe’s sermon is “The Shorter Ending” (Acts 10:34-43; Mark 1:16 -8). The Celebration Bell Choir will play “Ode to Joy” and “Christ the Lord is Risen Today!” The Chancel Choir will sing “Good Christians All, Rejoice and Sing.” Hymns for the day include: “The Day of Resurrection,” “Come Ye Faithful, Raise the Strain,” and “Jesus Christ is Risen Today.”

- The Mission & Stewardship Committee invites you to participate in the annual “One Great Hour of Sharing”, a special offering of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Join with Presbyterians world-wide in sharing God’s love with our neighbors in need around the world by providing relief from disasters, food for the hungry, and support for the poor and oppressed. The offering will be dedicated today.
- AN OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE THE CHURCH
Bev Williams, our Mingus View treasurer, has announced to the Session that she is moving in early summer. So the church is anxious to identify 1 or 2 people willing to be trained in handling the church finances. The job will be lighter than it is currently because the Session approved hiring an outside company to do the payroll. If you are interested in knowing more, please speak to Bev as soon as possible. Thank you in advance!
- Mountain View Elementary School loves when we check in with them with goodies. They have a few new requests in addition to the sweats, jeans, socks, and underwear that are ongoing requests. They could again use small disposable bottles of water, crackers, and small reusable hot and cold packs. They are most appreciative of our support.
