6th Sunday of Easter

Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless His name; tell of His salvation from day to day!”

Psalm 96:1-2

You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service either in person or on YouTube Live (please see instructions below in the Announcements). The title of Susan Goe’s sermon is “God’s Presence and Protection,” (Psalm 96; Acts 16:25-29; Colossians 3:12-17). The sermon will be a hymn sing, telling the story of four hymns – “O God, Our Help in Ages Past,” O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing,” “Just As I Am,” and “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.” The choir anthem will be “The Head That Once Was Crowned.” Other hymns for the day include: “I Sing the Mighty Power of God,” and “Eternal Father, Strong to Save.”

  • FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN VIEWING OUR WORSHIP SERVICE ON THE LIVESTREAM —You will no longer access the Livestream via Facebook. Go to youtube.com and then MVPC Livestream. Click on “live” and it will show a list of live videos including an upcoming video for that morning.
  • Thank you for all your donations to support our Mingus View Food Pantry. Some items that we need this week include: Canned corn, pastas, soups, canned fruit, diced tomatoes, jam, ketchup, cereal, boxed meals, Spam, canned chicken, canned mixed vegetables, canned carrots.
  • Volunteers Desperately Needed! We really need your help with our Monday morning Food Pantry. Volunteer help is needed to take care of clients from 9 – 11 a.m. Just one Monday a month would be a big help.

Can’t help on Mondays? We also could use shoppers! Sally Randall can give you a list of needed items and you can be reimbursed from our Food Pantry Fund. Speak to Sally if you could help in this way. Thanks!
