ANNOUNCEMENTS
- THANK YOU!! Many, many thanks to everyone who contributed and/or participated in our recent activities, especially last week. It was a great week!
- The Mission & Stewardship Team will meet on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.
- Our Food Pantry continues to serve a large number of clients each week, so our shelves are usually pretty bare after Monday morning! Anything extra you can buy when you go to the store will be greatly appreciated!
- From the Personnel Committee – Help Needed: Both our pastor, Susan Goe, and our church treasurer, Beverly Williams, spend a great deal of their time on what might be termed “clerical” work, mostly computer related. The Personnel Committee is interested in finding a person or persons who would like a small job helping them out. If you’d like to know more, please speak to Marilyn Walker or Ceri Woodworth.
- Greeters and hosts for Fellowship Hour are always needed.
- The Year of the Bible questions for the Week of November 6th are:
- Which two Old Testament people does James mention as examples of patient endurance and effective prayer?
- Which writer recommends that our long-range planning should keep in mind the saying, “If the Lord wishes”?
