ANNOUNCEMENTS
- The Session of Mingus View Presbyterian Church has called for a meeting of the congregation on Sunday, October 30, 2022, immediately following worship for the purpose of approving an item of business regarding the sale of property, electing new church officers, and receiving the 2023 Annual Budget for information. We will have a Salad Potluck Luncheon together as part of the meeting. All interested persons are invited to attend, even if you are not a voting member of the congregation.
- Our Food Pantry continues to serve a large number of clients each week, so our shelves are usually pretty bare after Monday morning! Anything extra you can buy when you go to the store will be greatly appreciated!
- From the Personnel Committee – Help Needed: Both our pastor, Susan Goe, and our church treasurer, Beverly Williams, spend a great deal of their time on what might be termed “clerical” work, mostly computer related. The Personnel Committee is interested in finding a person or persons who would like a small job helping them out. If you’d like to know more, please speak to Marilyn Walker or Ceri Woodworth.
- Greeters and hosts for Fellowship Hour are always needed. Also, The Craft Fair Committee is asking you to sign up to bake for the Craft & Bake Sale November 4 & 5, and also to help work at the Craft Faire.
- Only 1 More Week! The Mission Team invites you to put on your best costume and participate in “Trunk or Treat” in the Mingus View parking lot on Halloween beginning at 5:00 p.m.. Bring your favorite treats and come out to meet the neighbors!
- The Year of the Bible questions for the Week of October 23rd are:
- Which is the longest Psalm?
- Who helps Joseph of Arimathea bury Jesus?
Answers next week!!

- To whom does Jesus say, “I am the resurrection and the life”? (Jesus says to Martha, “I am the resurrection and the life.” John 11:25)
