29th Sunday after Pentecost

Reformation Sunday

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is he gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8

You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service, either in person or on Face Book.  We will be celebrating Reformation Sunday and our place, as Presbyterians, in the Reformed Tradition.  The title of Susan Goe’s sermon is “To Glorify God, and to Enjoy God Forever.” (2 Corinthians 5: 17 – 21; Matthew 22:34-40; Romans 5: 1 – 2; Ephesians 2: 8 – 9).  The Chancel Choir will sing “I Greet Thee, Who My Sure Redeemer Art.”  Hymns for the day include “Come Sing, O Church, in Joy,” “The Church’s One Foundation”: and “O God Our Help in Ages Past.”
