- Mountain View Elementary School: It’s time to help Nurse Stephanie and Mountain View School get ready for the new school year! Our partnership with the school has been a great success. They are ALWAYS in need of girls and boys underpants sizes 6 – 8, boys sweatpants and girls leggings, sizes 6 – 8, prepackaged crackers and cheese or crackers and peanut butter, Goldfish, and chips for when the kids come to her for snacks. Also, the small bottles of water are very important. Thank you, Mingus View, for continuing to support this important mission to our community!
- What is . . . . The FEED Fund? The Mingus View FEED Fund is a benevolence fund established in order to have funds available if someone from the congregation has a financial emergency. Requests under $500.00 can be requested through either a person’s Deacon, or one of the pastors. Larger amounts may be requested the same way, but have to be approved by Session. The church appreciates donations to the FEED fund to ensure we have money available when it’s needed. (Please note: The FEED Fund is separate from the Food Pantry fund, from which grocery items are purchased for the Pantry.)
