3rd Sunday of Easter
“Taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who
take refuge in him.” Psalm 34:8
You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service, either in person or on Face Book. The title of Susan Goe’s sermon is “Listen to Your Body” (Luke 24:13-35; Acts 2:14a, 36-41). The Chancel Choir will sing “For the Beauty of the Earth,” in honor of Earth Day. Hymns for the day include “Christ is Risen, Shout Hosanna,” “Be Known to Us in Breaking Bread,” and “Lift High the Cross.”

- Mother’s Day Project for Stepping Stones – In honor of Mother’s Day, the Hope Circle is collecting personal care items, diapers, pajamas, etc. –anything to help the transition for the women and children clients at the Stepping Stones emergency shelter. The baby crib is in the front hallway waiting to accept your gifts! Thank you!
- Coming Soon! Watch for information beginning next week about our Spring Mission Project!
- What is the Joy Box? A couple of Sundays a month (or as time allows), worshipers are invited to share with the congregation a special joy that they have experienced in their lives. We accept a small token of appreciation, but this is not mandatory. We want to hear what has brought you joy recently! Monies collected in the box are used for worship supplies – paper, candles, etc.
