Trinity Sunday

Now the Lord came and stood there calling as before, ‘Samuel, Samuel’. And Samuel said, ‘Speak, for your servant is listening.”

1 Samuel 3:10

You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service either in person or on YouTube Live via our Facebook page. The title of Susan Goe’s sermon is “God Even Calls Children” (Psalm 139:1-6, 13-18; 1 Samuel 3:1-20). The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated. The choir anthem will be “Become to Us the Living Bread.” Hymns for the day include: “Morning Has Broken,” “Lord, We Have Come at Your Own Invitation,” and “Here I Am, Lord.”

Monday Food Pantry Open, 9 – 11 a.m.

Wednesday Crafternooners, 1:00 p.m.

  • Critical Need! Please consider joining the AV Team! We need enough volunteers so that our teams can rotate. Please speak to Brian or Sue Von Hagel if you’d like to know more.
  • NEXT SUNDAY!: The Deacons invite everyone to welcome summer with an Ice Cream Social following worship on Sunday, June 9th! Please plan to join us and even invite a friend to come and have some Summertime fun!
  • Mountain View Elementary School: Because of the enthusiasm for and success of our partnership with Mountain View Elementary School, we have once again chosen to support this great local mission! Nurse Stephanie cannot thank us enough for our donations this past school year! To get the office set for the new school year beginning in early August, we thought we’d give you several weeks to scout for good beginning-of-the year deals. As the children don’t usually return items after use, Stephanie says they are ALWAYS in need of girls and boys underpants sizes 6 – 8; boys sweatpants and girls leggings, sizes 6 – 8. The kids come to her for snacks, so small prepackaged crackers and cheese or crackers and peanut butter, Goldfish, and chips keep her stocked. She says anything they can give the children to fill them up until mealtime is appreciated. So, Mingus View, let’s get Mountain View ready for the new school year! Thanks!
