3rd Sunday in Lent
“O come let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms.”
Psalm 95:1-2
You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service, either in person or on Face Book. The title of Jerry Hammon’s sermon is “Breaking Down Prejudices” (Romans 5:1-11; John 4:5-42). Special music will be “Earth and All Stars,” sung by Fran Chadwick and Janet Hansen. Hymns for the day include “Glorious Things of Thee are Spoken,” “Take Thou Our Minds, Dear Lord,” and “I Sing the Mighty Power of God.”

Opportunities for Spiritual Growth During Lent:
- Lenten Bible Study – “Jesus Revealed: The I Am Statements in the Gospel of John. Written by popular Bible study author Matt Rawle, we will explore the I Am statements in John as works of art that resonate throughout the Gospel and all of Scripture. “Jesus Revealed” continues on Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m.
- The Hope Circle will meet on Wednesday, March 15th, at 10:00 a.m. Because we got canceled not once, but twice, in February, please read Lessons 6 and 7. Please let Marilyn Walker know if you plan to attend.
- All are invited to the Easter Potluck on Sunday, April 9th, following worship. There is a sign-up sheet on the round table so please let the planning team know if you can be there!
- The Mission & Stewardship Team invites you to participate in the annual “One Great Hour of Sharing”, a special offering of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Join with Presbyterians world-wide in sharing God’s love with our neighbors in need around the world by providing relief from disasters, food for the hungry, and support for the poor and oppressed. The offering will be dedicated on Easter Sunday, April 9th.
