1st Sunday in Lent
“You who live in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’” Psalm 91:1-2
You are invited to join us on Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service either in person or on YouTube Live via our Facebook page. The title of Susan Goe’s sermon is “God Chooses to Draw Near,” (Psalm 91:1-2, 9-16, Luke 4:1-13). The choir anthem will be “Forty Days and Forty Nights.” Hymns for the day include: “Jesus Walked This Lonesome Valley,” “O Master Let Me Walk With Thee ,” and “Just as I Am, Without One Plea.”

ANNOUNCEMENTS
- The Mission & Stewardship Team will meet at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11th.
- Our Lenten Bible Study will begin on Tuesday, March 11th, at 10:30 a.m. The topic is “The Final Days: A Lenten Journey Through the Gospels” by our favorite Bible study author, Matt Rawle. Books are available on the round table at the back of the sanctuary.
- There will be a Memorial Service for Rosemary Henry on Saturday, March 15th, beginning at 1:00 p.m. here in the sanctuary.
