- Greeters and hosts for Fellowship Hour are needed!
- The Session will meet at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday the 21st.
- “An Unlikely Advent: Extraordinary People of the Christmas Story” will be our Advent Bible Study this year. This study takes a close look at some of the unlikely people we encounter in the stories about Jesus’ birth, including Elizabeth & Zechariah and Herod the Great. There will be four sessions, beginning Tuesday, November 28th, at 10:30 a.m. Study books are $13.00; if you can contribute to the cost of the books, that’s great. If you have any questions, speak to Susan Goe. Hope you can join us!
- CAMP CHRISTMAS at Ganado Presbyterian Church! Camp Christmas at our sister church in Ganado is a long-time tradition of the church. Mingus View has partnered with them over the years to provide the items that they can distribute to their community at the holidays. Most needed items are blankets; warm coats, hats, mittens, etc. – new or gently used; and personal care items (toothbrushes, paste, etc.) for the gift bags the Mission Team makes up. Boxes are located in the church foyer to accept your donations, for which we are grateful! Deadline for donations is December 17th!
- Mountain Valley Elementary School continues to be indebted to Mingus View for all our donations for the school nurse. Some new requests that we know you will continue to support: Kids’ Benadryl, Size 6 Boys Jogger Pants (sweat pants), Sizes 6-8 Girls Pants, Sweatshirts any size for boys and girls (especially size 10). Thank you SO much for your faithfulness in supporting this mission!
- If anyone is interested in becoming a member at Mingus View Presbyterian Church, we’d love to have you! Please speak to Susan Goe and schedule a time to explore the possibility.
